Covid is still present. Please call the surgery for an appointment for a vaccination if you are over 65 years old.
SKIN CHECK
As it is summer it is time to book a skin check. Phone the surgery for a booking to make your yearly booking.
Our Doctors stress the importance of this service as a protection against skin cancers.
SCRIPTS
Please note the Doctors require 48 hours notice, for preparation of scripts.
Please do not ring and expect to receive your scripts immediately.
The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) have updated their recommendations on the use of booster doses of COVID-19 vaccine in 2023. A 2023 COVID-19 vaccine booster dose if your last COVID-19 vaccine dose or confirmed infection (whichever is the most recent) was 6 months ago or longer, and regardless of the number of prior doses received:

Our practice is currently offering a Free yearly Health Assessment to all patients over the age of 75. Call the surgery to book an appointment.
CANCER COUNCIL BOWEL CANCER SCREENING CAMPAIGN There is currently a national wide campaign targeting the 50-74 year old age group. We recommend patients to complete the test which will be mailed out.
HEART HEALTH CHECK
If you are over 45 years old and have
not had a heart attack or stroke it is
recommended you have a heart health check.
The following groups should have the latest vaccine
ALL adults aged 65 years and over;
Adults aged 18-64 years who have medical comorbidities that increase their risk of severe COVID-19, or disability with significant or complex health needs.
All adults aged 18-64 years without risk factors for severe COVID-19.
Children and adolescents aged 5-17 years who have medical comorbidities that increase their risk of severe COVID-19, or disability with significant or complex health needs
